New South Wales

Australia

New South Wales is the oldest state in Australia, and home to the beautiful and vibrant capital city, Sydney. While in the city, make sure to visit the Sydney Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge, and Bondi Beach. Spend time taking in the culture with trip to one of the many galleries, museums, or theatres and enjoy sampling some of the city’s world class dining options.

Venture beyond Sydney, and you’ll see that there’s so much more to New South Wales than just its capital city.  Along the coastline you’ll find some of the most beautiful beaches in the country, then heading inland you will see a transition through the lush rainforests and national parks until finally making it to the Australian Outback.  Such a diverse landscape creates a variety of adventures and countless experiences for a memorable holiday.

If riding a camel ride is high on your bucket list, visit the beautiful seaside town of Port Macquarie and climb aboard and enjoy the scenic ride along Lighthouse Beach. While in Port Macquarie, you might also consider a visit to Billabong Koala Wildlife park to meet some wildlife up close, cruising down the Camden Haven river, or just have fun getting lost at the Bago maze.

Are you more of a foodie and wine lover? You’ll enjoy touring one of the many food and wine trails such as Around Hermitage in the Hunter Valley, the Yass Valley in the Canberra wine region, the Echuca Moama food and wine trail in the Murray, South Coast trails along Australia’s Oyster Coast and so much more. On these delectable food and wine tours, meet with farmers, graziers, winemakers, cheesemakers and beekeepers, or join a truffle hunt, catch mud crabs or visit oyster bars. The options are endless, but all so delicious!
